Our culture has an abundance of music and poetry. A local poet called Riocard Bairead is renowned throughout the whole country for the poetry he wrote in the 17th century.
In our class we like many types of music; modern, traditional, folk, country and western. We also learn to play traditional music on the tin whistle and to do Irish dancing.

Traditional music is part of our culture and we are lucky to have one of the best tin-whistle players in Ireland, Angela Deane, as our teacher.
